
The Project Management Unit Balochistan Education Support Program (PMU-BESP, established in 2012 under the SchoolEducation Department Balochistan, is responsible for implementing key education reform projects across the province. Beginning with the Promoting Girls’ Education Project (PGEP), the PMU has successfully managed initiatives like GPE-BEP, EU programs, BHCIP, ASPIRE, GRADES-B and STEP-B focused on improving access, equity, and quality in school education throughout Balochistan.
PMU is committed to strengthening the education system in Balochistan by promoting quality, expanding access, and ensuring equity. Through targeted interventions, the unit works to improve teaching and learning standards, build and upgrade infrastructure, and reach underserved communities, especially girls and marginalized groups. Every project under PMU is designed to create a more inclusive, effective, and resilient secondary education system that leaves no child behind.
