The project aims to increase enrollment rates for both boys and girls in pre-primary and primary education while improving foundational literacy and numeracy skills. It is designed to benefit approximately 250,000 students through a range of strategic interventions, including the construction of climate-smart classrooms, provision of safe transport facilities for girls, implementation of double-shift schooling arrangements, and establishment of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to expand access and improve service delivery. In addition, the project places strong emphasis on teacher development by focusing on professional training, capacity building, and improved recruitment practices to enhance the overall quality of education and learning outcomes.
