PGEB – Promoting Girls' Education in Balochistan

The Promoting Girls’ Education in Balochistan (PGEB) project was launched by the Government of Balochistan, with funding from the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) and technical assistance from the World Bank, to improve access, equity, and retention in girls’ education across 12 underserved districts of Balochistan.

The project ran from September 2012 to June 2015, targeting communities affected by conflict and severe infrastructure gaps—particularly in girls’ primary and middle schools.
