Minister for Education, Government of Balochistan, Madam Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani, visited the World Bank Office in Islamabad and held a high-level meeting with the World Bank delegation to discuss future interventions and priorities for strengthening the education sector in Balochistan.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review key areas of collaboration and discuss ongoing and future interventions under GRADES-Balochistan and STEP-Balochistan, with a focus on improving access to quality education, strengthening service delivery, enhancing learning outcomes, and supporting sustainable education reforms across the province.

Project Director, PMU-BESP, Mr. Hafiz Muhammad Qasim, also participated in the meeting.

The engagement reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Government of Balochistan and the World Bank to strengthening the education system and advancing meaningful, sustainable reforms for the children and communities of Balochistan.
