A delegation from the School Education Department, Government of Balochistan, and the Project Management Unit – Balochistan Education Support Program (PMU-BESP), led by Chief Planning Officer Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, visited the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Node, School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh.

The visit was undertaken to assess and learn from the PPP Node established and operationalized in Sindh, with a particular focus on its institutional framework, implementation mechanisms, monitoring systems, operational practices, and experience in engaging the private sector for education service delivery.

During the visit, the delegation held detailed discussions with the PPP Node team and explored the lessons learned, opportunities, and challenges associated with the PPP education model. The knowledge-sharing session provided valuable insights that can contribute to Balochistan’s ongoing efforts to explore and develop an effective Public-Private Partnership framework for the education sector.

The visit reflects PMU-BESP’s commitment to evidence-based learning, institutional strengthening, innovation, and exploring sustainable approaches to improve access to quality education across Balochistan.
