A delegation from the School Education Department, Government of Balochistan, led by the Project Management Unit – Balochistan Education Support Program (PMU-BESP), visited an Ed-Tech Accelerated Learning Program (Ed-Tech ALP) school operated under the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) to explore innovative, technology-enabled approaches to education and learning.

The visit was aimed at gaining practical insights into the use of technology to enhance teaching effectiveness, observing innovative models of digital learning, and learning from successful approaches that contribute to improved student learning outcomes.

During the visit, the delegation received a detailed briefing on the objectives, methodology, and implementation approach of the Ed-Tech ALP, including the effective use of educational technology and the integration of digital tools into classroom teaching and learning.

The delegation subsequently visited various classrooms and observed modern educational facilities, digital learning systems, technology-enabled pedagogical activities, and students’ active participation in the learning process. The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to observe first-hand how technology is being integrated into classroom practices to make learning more interactive, engaging, and effective.

The delegation also interacted directly with students, who confidently shared their learning experiences, academic activities, and future aspirations. The students further demonstrated various aspects of their classroom learning and practical academic activities.

The visit forms part of PMU-BESP’s efforts to explore innovative and successful educational models and draw lessons that can inform education sector initiatives in Balochistan. Such learning and knowledge-sharing opportunities are expected to support efforts to improve the quality of education, promote digital learning, strengthen teaching and learning practices, and create innovative and effective educational opportunities for students across the province.
