The Winter School Camp 2026 was organized by the Project Management Unit Balochistan Education Support Program (PMU-BESP) under the School Education Department, Government of Balochistan, with the support of the World Bank. The camp was conducted in Quetta over a six-week period from 5 January to 13 February 2026.

The initiative targeted students from Grade 2 to Grade 5 with the objective of improving Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) skills, providing structured learning opportunities during winter break, and reducing learning gaps among children.

More than 2,000 students participated in the camp through 33 dedicated learning centers, where 125 teachers delivered educational support. The camp provided a safe and engaging learning environment, combining classroom teaching, learning activities, and student engagement programs.

The Winter School Camp successfully contributed to improving student learning outcomes, teacher engagement, and community participation, while creating an effective model for seasonal learning support.
